My First Giveaway

Lots of good stuff happening here.  But before I get to the giveaway, I want to share what I've been up to this week.  We have been dealing with an over abundance of frogs for the past year.  Before I go any farther with this story rest  assured I am not going to be giving frogs away to any of you. My 3 year old grand-daughter convinced us to let the tadpoles in our pond live last year and to not to clean the pond out as is our usual spring ritual.  Big mistake.  This year instead of two frogs croaking in our backyard, we have had a deafening symphony of frogs ALL night long, every night.  This week we decided to do something about it. In all, we have rounded up 29 frogs and relocated them to a pond eight miles away :) Here is a picture of where we found them all and their release to their new home. We use to have a pond in the corner where the  big rocks are now.  The frogs loved hiding in the  rocks and the flowers.  To celebrate a semi-peaceful nights sleep (there is still at least two frogs hiding in there somewhere) and the fact that I now have ten followers,Woot woot, I am going to be having a giveaway.  I started this blog as a way to motivate me to finish some WIP's that I've had laying around for years.  Instead I am constantly seeing someone doing something I just have to try and my projects sit untouched.  I figure one of you may want to adopt my abandoned project and give it the love and finishing touches it deserves.  If you would like to win the quilt top in the picture shown here just leave me a comment on this post telling me you would like to have it and I will post the winner chosen by Mr. Random Generator here on June 7th.  This quilt top is currently 42-1/2" by 48".  I made it about 7 years ago.  For a second chance to win just leave a comment letting me know you are a follower of my blog.  Please be sure to leave me a way to contact you if you are a no reply blogger.  Good Luck!!!
